Version 1.0 · 5 August 2026 · Operated by Festari Group Ltd, P.O. Box TK 657, Tarkwa, Ghana
Every item and service posted on PlugMall must follow these rules. Listings that do not follow them may be edited, hidden or removed.
A1. Your identity
- Use a real display name or a real business name. Email addresses and phone numbers are not display names and will be replaced.
- One account per person or business. Duplicate accounts created to post the same stock will be merged or removed.
- Sellers seeking the Verified badge must complete ID verification. The badge means PlugMall has checked who you are. It is not a guarantee of product quality, and it can be withdrawn.
A2. Your photos
- Post real photos of the actual item you are selling wherever possible. Manufacturer images are acceptable for sealed, branded goods.
- Do not put phone numbers, WhatsApp links, email addresses, Instagram handles or shop addresses inside your images. Your contact details already appear on your PlugMall profile, and buyers reach you through the contact button.
- Flyers and posters may be used as a supporting image, but the first image must show the product itself.
- Do not use another seller's photos. If a photo is reported as stolen, the listing is removed.
- Minimum one clear photo. Listings with three or more clear photos consistently get more views.
A3. Your title
- The title must describe the item, not your shop. "Ladies leather tote bag, brown" is a title. "Anny's Closet" is not.
- Never use a phone number as a title.
- No capital letters throughout, no strings of emojis, no attention-grabbing symbols. Titles are how buyers search.
A4. Your price
- Every listing must show a price in Ghana cedis.
- If the price genuinely varies, use "from GH₵X" and state in the description what changes it (size, quantity, distance, finish).
- "Ask for price" is not available on new listings. Buyers who cannot see a price usually leave rather than ask.
- The price shown must be the price you will honour. Advertising one price and quoting another on WhatsApp is a removable offence.
- Discount markers must be genuine. Do not inflate a "was" price to manufacture a discount.
A5. Your category
- Put the listing in the category a buyer would look in, not the category that gets the most traffic.
- Services go under Services, not under a product category.
- Miscategorised listings will be moved without notice.
A6. Shopfronts and multiple items
- One listing is one product or one service. Do not post your whole stock in a single listing.
- All photos on a listing must show the same item — different angles, close-ups, or what is in the box.
- If you sell many items, open a vendor storefront and list them separately. Your storefront is your shop page, and your QR sticker points buyers to it.
A7. Services and portfolio listings
- State plainly what you do, what a buyer gets, how long it takes and what it costs.
- Show your own work. Portfolio images must be work you personally produced.
- Do not claim qualifications, certifications or affiliations you do not hold.
- If you work outside Tarkwa, say so and say how you deliver. Distance is not a barrier on PlugMall, but buyers need to know.
A8. What may not be sold
The following are prohibited outright:
- Firearms, ammunition, explosives, blasting accessories and mining explosives of any kind.
- Unlicensed gold, gold dust, mercury and other regulated minerals or mining chemicals.
- Prescription medicines, tramadol, codeine syrups, unregistered drugs, and any product banned or restricted by the Ghana Food and Drugs Authority, including hydroquinone skin bleaching creams.
- Counterfeit goods and pirated media, software, textbooks or course material.
- Academic dishonesty services: writing assignments, dissertations or examinations for others, or selling examination material.
- Stolen goods, including phones and laptops without proof of ownership.
- Sexual services, sexual content, and any content involving a minor in a sexual or suggestive way.
- Live animals, wildlife products, ivory and bushmeat.
- Investment schemes, forex signals, betting predictions, loan offers and money multiplication of any kind.
- Personal data, hacked accounts, SIM cards registered in another person's name, and account access for sale.
- Alcohol or tobacco offered to anyone under 18.
Anything unlawful in Ghana is prohibited on PlugMall whether or not it appears on this list.
A9. Dealing with buyers
- Reply to enquiries. Sellers who consistently do not respond lose search ranking.
- Do not ask a buyer to pay in full before any contact, inspection or handover has taken place. Use a pickup centre where one is available.
- Deliver what you advertised, in the condition you advertised it.
- Do not pressure a buyer to move off PlugMall in order to avoid the platform's protections.
A10. Keeping listings current
- Take down or mark sold anything no longer available.
- Listings untouched for 90 days may be archived. You can restore them in one tap.
